This is a bug-fix release. There are also some improvements to emulation performance on some games, but these changes are largely behind the scenes so they may not be noticeable. We recommend all users upgrade to 2.0.0 as soon as possible because we will not be providing any more updates for 1.2 and earlier versions of Epsxe Core after this release (eg, 1.4 or 1.5). ##How to run the GPU Core: Download and install NGLide from here: http://www.ngdevteam.com/utils/nglide/ - Download the latest version of D3DGear (http://www.(download). d3dgear.com/) and extract its files somewhere on your hard-drive (eg:

D3DGear_w64.exe) - Extract the contents of "EpsxeGpuCoreInstaller" into the folder you installed D3DGear to. A folder called "EpsxeGpuCore" should now exist inside this folder with the Epsxe GPU core files inside it. ==How to Start up:== Run the Epsxe Gpu Core by double clicking on "EpsxeGpuCore" or by executing "msiexec /i EpsxeGpuCore.msi" from a command prompt. NOTE: - If you are getting an error when attempting to run the Gpu core, it's probably because you don't have enough RAM allocated to your graphics card. You can try starting with 3 or 4GB of memory allocated to your graphics card. If this is not sufficient, then set the amount of ram that you allocate in the Epsxe Configurator(EpsxeConfigurator_w64.exe) program so it's around this minimum amount required for running the core. - If you are still having problems starting up the Gpu core, then try updating your graphics driver and see if that fixes the problem. - This release is for 64bit windows only, 32bit support will be available in a future release. ##Changes:##

The GPU core uses a combination of the latest open source drivers, OpenGL 4.0 and Mantle, DirectCompute 12.1 to achieve a rock solid 30FPS at 1080p with a GTX780. The core can be configured to use your motherboard's integrated graphics as an alternative if system memory is insufficient, but requires an additional 1GB of ram as there is no offloading of graphics rendering from your CPU to the graphics card as in the other 2 cores currently available for speed boosts (see this link for more information: Speedy cores ).
